Portrait of Miyagi Scott, cybersecurity and accessibility professional

Miyagi Scott

I’m a cybersecurity and accessibility professional interested in the relationship between technology, people, and trust. My work focuses on digital compliance, AI governance, and human-centered security, especially within healthcare, nonprofit, and mission-driven spaces.

What draws me to this field is the idea that technology should not only be secure but also accessible, understandable, and built with real people in mind. I’m especially interested in how organizations can balance innovation with privacy, accessibility, and ethical responsibility as AI becomes more integrated into everyday work.

My background combines cybersecurity education with experience in UX/UI design, project management, governance research, and work within regulated environments involving sensitive information and collaboration with state agencies. I’m currently completing my master’s degree in cybersecurity while continuing to explore accessibility design, risk management, and digital trust.
